At Ruge's Subaru in Rhinebeck, we believe in the power of community, kindness, and making a positive impact.
This February, as part of Subaru Loves to Help® month, Ruge's Subaru is teaming up with Subaru to support Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit committed to providing essential resources for children to thrive. Together, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those facing urgent needs—especially those right in our backyard.
In our first annual Subaru Loves to Help month, we are excited to partner with Astor Services, which serves the Hudson Valley with support for children with emotional and behavioral health problems. Through this effort, Ruge’s Subaru will be visiting the Astor Home to deliver over 100 brand-new coats to kids in need.
We recognize the importance of this essential item, not only for protection against the elements but also for the significant impact a new coat can have on a child's mental and emotional well-being. Ruge's Subaru CEO Kristin Hutchins says, "We're delighted to launch this initiative and support the great work Astor Services does in our community. We've been excited to work with them on different projects over the years, but Subaru Loves to Help allows us to directly benefit kids in need."
This year alone, Subaru and its retailers will be providing over 150,000 children with brand-new winter necessities. Join us in spreading warmth, and hope, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most by supporting Astor Services.
